As we all adjust to the new normal for awhile, I continue to get questions about how the real estate market will be affected and how realtors are able to continue doing business. The short answer is that if you are considering buying or selling a home, you can still do so. The Ebby Halliday Companies are following strict mandates and recommendations in an effort to reduce or eliminate in-person contact. We are able (and encouraged) to conduct business over the phone, using Facetime or other web-based technologies that can allow us to meet virtually and make recommendations that make sense for everyone involved.
To all extent possible, video and other technologies should be used to reduce or eliminate in-person contact. No traditional open houses should be held at this time and any physical showings or entries into a property should be limited to the fewest persons possible following the strictest CDC hygienic guidelines and only if all parties and you are agreeable to doing so.
As such, all real estate services should be completed virtually during the “Shelter-In-Place” period. The Ebby Halliday Companies do NOT support holding or attending Open Houses until further notice.
If you are considering buying or selling, whether now or later this spring or even this summer, we can start now with a phone call. I am here for you. Call, text or email me and let me help guide you through the process starting with the first step – a phone call to talk about your goals and needs.
